The through-line

Decisions first. Technology in context.

Across banking operations, fraud monitoring, cyber and security products, risk-product advisory and executive education, the constant is decision quality. Ahmed works where commercial value, control design and adoption must coexist, especially in regulated financial services.

Professional perspective

Built across three connected vantage points

Banking operations

Grounded in the transaction

Ahmed began in frontline banking operations before moving into issuer fraud monitoring and investigations at CIB Egypt.

Product leadership

From control to product

At Mastercard and Network International, his work expanded into AI, fraud and value-added risk products across global, Middle East and African contexts.

Education

From practice to capability

His teaching turns GenAI, FP&A, analytics and AI governance into practical learning paths for executives, professionals and students.

How Ahmed works

Five operating principles

01

Start with the decision

Clarify the decision, owner and consequence before discussing a tool.

02

Treat controls as product requirements

Governance, evidence and human review belong in the design, not in an appendix.

03

Make complexity teachable

A useful framework must survive the boardroom, the product backlog and the classroom.

04

Adapt to regional reality

MENA markets share patterns, but regulation, infrastructure and adoption context differ.

05

Protect trust

No invented certainty, no confidential client stories and no performance theatre.

Study and research

Continuing the work through doctoral research.

Ahmed completed an MBA programme at Royale Business College UK and is a DBA candidate. His research explores practical GenAI and agentic decisioning in banking and financial institutions. He also holds professional credentials across GRC, AI, analytics, finance and fraud examination.

Start with the decision

Bring the context. We can define the right next question.

For advisory, executive education, media or academic enquiries, share the decision you are facing, the audience involved and the outcome you need.
